Rebecca McCusker

RN, BN, Diploma of Advanced Clinical Nursing (Emergency), Diploma of Paramedicine, Cert IV Training and Assessment, Master of Nurse Practitioner (Clinical)

Rebecca has an extensive and varied clinical background. She has worked in roles in Emergency Departments such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, ANUM and Nurse Practitioner. She is also an Advanced Life Support Paramedic. Rebecca has a keen interest in pre-hospital management. She has volunteered for a number of years as a medic at events such as Bathurst, V8 Supercar events and the Moto GP. Rebecca’s volunteer work also included volunteering for ten months in a large hospital in Malawi, Africa where she provided valuable clinical support and education to patients, nurses and clinical officers as well as gaining unique experience.

Rebecca’s education roles have included mentoring, presenting and lecturing at study days and in-services for graduate nurses; ED staff; nurses undertaking Emergency transition programs and Post Graduate Emergency Nursing students. Rebecca is a dynamic presenter and experienced clinician who is passionate about sharing her knowledge. Rebecca currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in two large Emergency Departments in Melbourne.
